Azimut Tours welcomes you to the company’s website (“Website”). Users shall read this section carefully. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us by any means.

1 - Scope of application
By entering to, connecting to, accessing or using the Website, you, and every person on whose behalf you act, as everyone named in the booking you make, acknowledge that they have read, understood and accepted the terms, conditions and limitations of liability described herein. They constitute a binding contract between you and Azimut Tours. The services to be provided are those referred to in your booking confirmation invoice.
2 - Booking process
A booking is made either by a client or by our staff at the client’s request. If we accept your booking we will issue a confirmation invoice including the specific conditions. Any special requirements and medical problems should be reported at the time of booking. A contract will exist between us from the date you accept our offer or from the date we issue the confirmation invoice.
Azimut Tours may not agree to conclude a contract in any of the following cases:
  • If our business situation necessitates it;
  • When the traveller does not satisfy the requirements of the tour concerned.
If the payment is not received on or before the due date we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled. A proxy is presumed between you and everyone whose name is contained in the booking. You are held responsible of the payment of the invoiced fee for the trips booked.
After we receive the full payment we will send you a set of documents (“vouchers”). Please make sure all details are correct and contact us immediately should you notice incorrect or missing information.
3 - Deposit requirement
You are required to pay a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the trip’s fees or a minimum amount of 100€, whichever is greater, per person per trip for your booking confirmation. If your booking is made within 30 days or less of the departure date then you shall pay the full amount at the time of booking. Please note that a higher deposit may be required.
4 - Validity of the information
The information (dates, prices…) referred to the day you make your reservation is valid. We reserve the right to make changes to and correct errors at any time before your holiday is confirmed.
Unfavorable changes in exchange rates, local operators’ costs, transportation costs and taxes may occur, which will affect the final price. You will be notified about the changes as soon as we acknowledge them.
In such cases we will cover any increase up to 3% of the published price, and you will be responsible to cover the balance. If the increase is more than 20% you can cancel the reservation within a maximum of 7 days after the notification is sent and the deposit will be fully refunded.
5 - Your details
You must provide all requested details with the balance of the trip price (full name as per passport, date of birth, nationality, passport number, passport issue and expiry date and any pre-existing medical conditions).
6 - Booking amendments
In case of amendment of your booking, we may comply with your request to the reasonably practical extent. The amendment will incur a fee covering the cost required for the change.
If you wish to transfer your booking to a third party or to another tour, you must notify us at least 20 days prior to the booked departure date. A fee of 50 € per person per change will apply, in addition to any costs required for the change. If you notify us less than 20 days prior to the proposed departure date the refund policy applicable to cancellations will apply.
Notwithstanding the above provisions, the booking amendments depend on our partners’ conditions. Different amendment conditions may apply to special or customized trips or services. Please contact our consultants for details.
7 - Cancellation by the traveller
If you cancel some or all portions of your booking, cancellation fees will apply. A cancellation will only be effective when we receive written confirmation. The cancellation fees are:
  • if we receive cancellation 45 days or more prior to departure, we will retain the deposit;
  • if between 44 and 30 days prior to departure, we will retain the deposit or 50% of the total booking cost, whichever is greater;
  • if less than 30 days prior to departure, we will retain 100% paid by you for the booking.

You are strongly advised to take out cancellation insurance. If you leave a trip for any reason after it has commenced we are not obliged to make any refunds for unused services.
8 - Change of circumstances
You appreciate and acknowledge that the nature of this type of travel requires considerable flexibility due to local circumstances or events and you should allow for alternatives without prior notice. You are deemed to have agreed any changes of itinerary, of schedule and services due to the circumstances and the events that may occur that are outside our control without any right for indemnification. You will cover the additional cost of any necessary itinerary alterations.
9 - Change of itinerary
While we endeavor to operate all trips as described. Please refer to the Website before departure for the most recent updates to your itinerary. If we make a major change before departure we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible. A major change is deemed to be a change affecting at least three days out of five of the itinerary and that is out of Azimut Tour’s control. In case of major change, you may choose between accepting the change, obtaining a refund of money paid on the land portion of the trip only or accepting an alternative tour offered.
10 - Cancellation by Azimut Tours
We may cancel a trip at any time in case:
  • Special event occurs (any external events making it not viable for us to operate the planned itinerary);
  • The traveller doesn’t pay the fees on time;
  • Any misconduct by the customer that impede the continuation of the contract.
If we cancel your trip for another reason than the above mentioned, you can transfer amounts paid to an alternate departure date or alternatively receive a refund. Refunds will be less any unrecoverable costs. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking (visas, vaccinations, travel insurance excess or non-refundable flights…).

11 - Travel fee inclusions
The land price of your trip includes the services listed on the Website related to the trip you choose to book and/or your trip note.
12 - Travel fee exclusions
The land price of your trip does not include the services listed on the Website related to the trip you choose to book and your trip note. Unless specified otherwise, the land price of your trip does not include:
  • International or internal flights;
  • Meals other than those specified in the confirmation e-mail or the trip note;
  • Visa and passport fees;
  • Personal travel insurance;
  • Optional activities and all personal expenses.

13 - Surcharges and fluctuations
If fluctuation in the travel fee has arisen prior to the commencement of the tour due to a revision of a fare or charge of the transportation or accommodation facilities, increases in local operator costs, taxes or the government action require us to do so, exchange rate fluctuations or any other cause, Azimut Tours may change the travel fee concerned as specified in section 4.
14 - Optional activities
Optional activities not included in the trip price do not form part of the trip or this contract. Any assistance given by your tour leader or local representative in arranging optional activities does not render us liable for them in any way.
15 - Specific requirements
We recommend that you take the necessary precautions with regard to the nature of the trip you book - to ensure that you obtain proper and detailed medical advice prior to travel. We have no liability to you for any cost, loss or material or personal damage, which you suffer, nor will we refund you the cost of any unused portion of your travel arrangements.
We will do our best to provide you the comfort required. Single rooms may involve additional fees. Minimum group size may be specified.
You must carry a valid passport and have obtained all of the appropriate visas, permits and certificates for the countries in which you will visit or transit during your trip. We are not responsible if you are refused entry to a country because you lack the correct passport, visa or other travel documentation.
16 - Travel insurance
Our packages don’t include the travel insurance. Your travel insurance must provide at least cover against personal accident, death, medical expenses and emergency repatriation. We also strongly recommend it covers cancellation, personal liability and loss of luggage and personal effects.
17 - Authority on tour
A group leader runs our guided trips. The decision of the group leader is final on all matters likely to affect the safety or well-being of any person participating in the trip. If you fail to comply with a decision made by a group leader, or interfere with the wellbeing or mobility of the group, the group leader may direct you to leave the trip immediately, with no right of refund. You must at all times comply with the laws, customs, foreign exchange and drug regulations of all countries visited, and you also agree to travel in accordance with our responsible travel guidelines.
18 - Acceptance of risk
You acknowledge that the nature of the trip is adventurous and participation involves a degree of personal risk. We use information from our own contacts in assessing whether the itinerary should operate. However, it is also your own responsibility to acquaint yourself with all possible relevant travel information and the nature of your itinerary. You acknowledge that your decision to travel is made in light of consideration of this information and you accept that you are aware of the personal risks attendant upon such travel.
19 - Limitation of liability
Azimut Tours’ obligation is deemed completed whenever the performance is based on the reasonable duty of skill and due care. We can be responsible for what our employees do or do not do if they were at the time acting within the course of their employment. We shall not be liable for any damage or loss if the failure to carry out the contract is:
  • Attributable to you, to any traveller or to a third party;
  • Due to any unforeseen and unusual circumstances beyond our control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all due care had been exercised;
  • Due to political disputes, border closures, refusal of visas, industrial action, climate or other matters of a similar nature and any force majeure;
  • Connected with services which do not form part of our contract;
  • A foreseeable risk, which was accepted by the traveler.
We cannot accept any liability for any damage, loss, expense or other sum which:
  • On the basis of the information given to us by you concerning your booking, we could not have foreseen you would suffer or incur if we breached our contract with you;
  • Which did not result from any breach of contract or other fault by ourselves or our employees or, where we are responsible for them, our suppliers;
  • Material damages and business losses.
Any liability covered under the clause above is limited to the price paid for the trip or the cost generated, whichever is lower. Azimut Tours specifically excludes all liability for indirect or consequential loss or expense.

20 - Responsibility of the traveller
If Azimut Tours or any of its employees or representatives, incurred any damage or loss caused by a traveller intentionally or by negligence, the traveller must compensate for the damage.
21 - Claims and complaints
If you have a complaint about your trip please inform your tour leader. If satisfaction is not reached, any further complaint should be put in writing to us within 5 days of the end of the tour.  We are regret in advance that solutions may not be offered at this stage.
22 – Severability
In the event that any term or condition contained in these booking terms and conditions is unenforceable or void such term or condition shall be deemed to be severed from this contract or amended accordingly only to such extent necessary to allow all remaining terms and conditions to survive and continue as binding.
23 - Privacy policy
You consent to us using images of you taken during the trip for advertising and promotional purposes. You grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to use such images. Written feedbacks and images sent to us are also subject of the same condition. Any personal information that we collect about you may be used for any purpose associated with the operation of a trip or to send you marketing material. We will treat your details in accordance with our privacy policy (available for viewing on our website).
24 - Applicable law
The laws of Bulgaria govern these booking terms and conditions to the fullest extent allowable.
